Job summary

Formic is seeking a Customer Success Manager for Bolingbrook, IL. You will be the primary contact for a portfolio of customers, conducting site visits and providing end-to-end support across technical, operational, training, and admin areas of our robotic automation solutions.

You will monitor customer health, drive adoption, and identify growth opportunities while collaborating with Sales, Deployment, and Service teams. Travel up to ~30% and proximity to a major airport is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in a manufacturing operations role.
• Familiarity with robotic automation systems in manufacturing.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong judgment during escalations and shifting priorities.
• Ability to identify expansion opportunities through relationships.
• Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary consultative partner and point of contact for the customer group you manage.
• Conduct site visits and regular travel to assess satisfaction and provide training.
• Monitor customer health and engagement to mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with Sales, Deployment, and Service teams to guide customers through their automation journey.
• Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts.
• Provide customer feedback to inform product and service enhancements.
