Job summary

WP Engine is seeking an experienced Customer Success Manager in Tucson, AZ to serve as a trusted advisor for a portfolio of high-value accounts. You will develop account strategies, drive retention and growth, and coordinate with sales, product, and support to deliver value aligned with customer goals.

The role requires 5+ years in account or customer success management, strong communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency with CRM tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business-related field.
• Five+ years of experience in account or customer success management.
• Proven ability to build and maintain partnerships with high-level customers.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of customers' industries and goals.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce and Gainsight.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team.
• Travel for internal and customer meetings.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain executive-level partnerships with key stakeholders.
• Coordinate with sales, marketing, product and support teams to deliver exceptional service.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans with short-term objectives and long-term goals.
• Analyze customer needs, trends and competition to identify upsell opportunities.
• Lead proposals, business reviews and solution presentations.
• Monitor portfolio health and renewal risks, and conduct regular business reviews.
• Negotiate terms and manage contract administration to maximize value.
• Triage and resolve complex customer questions with cross-functional teams.
