Job summary

WP Engine is seeking an experienced Customer Success Manager to act as the trusted advisor for high-value accounts. You will develop strategic account plans, drive revenue retention and growth, and coordinate with sales, product, and support to deliver tailored solutions aligned with customer goals.

You will monitor account health, conduct regular business reviews, and lead renewal negotiations while identifying upsell opportunities in collaboration with the Account Management team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business related field is required.
• Five+ years of proven experience in account or customer success management with revenue growth results.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of customers' industries and goals.
• Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce, Gainsight).

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain executive-level partnerships with key stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal teams to deliver solutions and drive retention.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans with short- and long-term objectives.
• Monitor account health, usage, adoption, and churn risk; conduct regular business reviews.
• Own renewal lifecycle for Enterprise and Mid-Market accounts; negotiate terms and manage contracts.
• Identify and surface expansion opportunities through ongoing discovery and collaboration with sales.
