Job summary

BMO U.S. is a financial institution seeking a seasoned credit professional to analyze credit information for Commercial banking loans and credit solutions. You will assess repayment capacity, sign off on loans within authority, and monitor portfolio risk while delivering strong client service.

Responsibilities include developing proposals, expanding relationships with clients, and ensuring compliance with bank policies. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Business Administration, Finance and Accounting preferred.
• Credit knowledge and experience aligned with portfolio requirements and standards.
• Deep knowledge gained through education and business experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze credit information to support lending decisions and processes for Commercial banking loans and credit solutions.
• Assess client repayment capacity using financial models and analytics.
• Sign off on new, renewal and extension loans within authority.
• Monitor portfolio to identify deteriorating credit conditions and compliance risks.
• Develop and deliver proposals to capture new business and expand client relationships.
• Build and maintain client relationships with Relationship Manager and partners.
• Adhere to risk policies and regulatory standards while maximizing portfolio performance.
