Job summary

BMO Financial Group in Chicago seeks an experienced Commercial Credit Analyst to analyze credit information and support lending decisions for a diverse portfolio of commercial loans. You will negotiate terms and assess repayment capacity using financial models to align client needs with risk policies.

Responsibilities include signing off on loans, monitoring portfolio health, and identifying growth opportunities while delivering exceptional client service and collaborating with Relationship

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; business/finance accounting focus preferred.
5–7 years of relevant credit or lending experience in corporate banking or finance.
Strong analytical and quantitative decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Analyze credit information to support lending decisions for commercial loans.
Negotiate loan structures and terms in line with risk policies.
Assess repayment capacity using financial models and analytical tools.
Sign off on new, renewal and extension loans within delegated authority.
Monitor portfolio to identify risks and opportunities and report findings.
