Job summary

BMO Financial Group in Chicago seeks a seasoned commercial credit professional to assess client information, structure loans, and monitor risk across an assigned portfolio. You will run financial analyses, model scenarios, and provide recommendations that align with bank policies while delivering exceptional client service and cross‑sell opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting.
• 5–7 years of credit or lending experience in a corporate or banking environment.
• Deep knowledge of credit policies, risk assessment and financial modeling.
• Experience with structuring deals and cross-selling in commercial banking.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes credit information to support lending decisions for new and existing loans.
• Structures and negotiates loan terms aligned with risk appetite and client needs.
• Monitors portfolio performance and identifies deterioration risks and compliance issues.
• Develops proposals and delivers presentations to expand client relationships.
