Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls (P3) within the Stinger Finance team. This hybrid role collaborates with finance, engineering, operations, contracts, and the program office to provide cost oversight for a production program.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of finance experience, strong Excel skills, and U.S. citizenship. You will prepare reports, support forecasting, and drive cost improvements across the program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field and 5+ years finance/accounting experience
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and variance analysis
• Experience with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas), Word, and PowerPoint
• U.S. citizenship is required to access government financial systems

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly and monthly program reports
• Support Earned Value Management implementation and maintenance, including variance analysis
• Develop quarterly Estimates at Complete (EACs)
• Support the monthly forecasting process and stakeholder coordination
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and decision support to program leadership
• Participate in internal program reviews and chart development
