Job summary

Raytheon, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls (P3) for its Stinger Finance team within the LADS Mission Area. This role blends onsite and remote work, requiring collaboration across finance, engineering, operations, contract, and program office teams.

You will lead reporting, EV management support, EAC development, and forecasting processes while engaging with program leadership to drive insights and improvements. U.S.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related field & a minimum of 5 years professional finance/accounting experience; OR an Advanced degree with 3 years professional finance/accounting experience
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and/or variance analysis
• Experience with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas), Word, and/or PowerPoint
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements

Responsibilities

• Preparing weekly and monthly program reports
• Supporting internal Earned Value Management implementation and maintenance, including variance analysis and monthly EV deliverables
• Development of quarterly Estimates at Complete (EACs)
• Supporting the monthly forecasting process, including stakeholder coordination and Rplan updates
• Providing support for internal program reviews, including chart development and presentation
• CSDR reporting requirements (1921 deliverables)
• Providing ad-hoc analysis and decision support to program leadership
