Qualifications

  • Experience with credit underwriting and loan structuring.

Responsibilities

  • Interviews loan applicants and analyzes data to assess creditworthiness.
  • Establishes terms for credit, including costs, repayment method, and collateral.
  • Collects information to reflect current creditworthiness of customers and loans.
  • Presents loan requests to the executive loan committee for high-dollar deals.
  • Authorizes or rejects overdrafts within authority.
  • Monitors loan repayments and collects past-due accounts.
  • Advises customers on business and financial matters.
  • Serves as a contact for non-borrowing accounts on bank services.
  • Develops new business by contacting prospects and cross-selling bank services.
  • Prepares lending activity reports for management.
  • Keeps abreast of economic and regulatory changes affecting lending.
