Qualifications

• College or university undergraduate degree in a related subject; less than 8 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combo.
• Knowledge of GAAP and various commercial loan products.
• Proven analytical ability and verbal/written communication skills.
• Familiarity with the bank's loan policy is a must.
• Advanced knowledge of financial analysis including cash flow, balance sheet and income statement analysis, collateral evaluation, loan contracts, and appraisal reports.
• Excellent writing skills for routine loan memos and requests.

Responsibilities

• Leads marketing efforts to attract new client relationships based on market understanding.
• Acts as the primary relationship manager for clients in the portfolio.
• Advises on structuring and underwriting credit solutions.
• Obtains and analyzes diligence materials for risk evaluation.
• Prepares loan documentation for approval processes.
• Presents loan requests to Loan Committee and coordinates with attorneys.
• Works with Credit Analysts and Portfolio Managers to monitor client relationships.
• Mentors junior team members and maintains open client communications.
