Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, in business, finance or related field.
• At least 2 years banking experience, ideally as Commercial Lender or Portfolio Manager.
• Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
• Formal credit analysis training or lending experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial data analysis.
• Knowledge of federal/state lending regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel locally for client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets to develop new loan prospects.
• Maintain professional relationships and grow portfolio through calls and meetings.
• Evaluate applicant's financial status, credit and property to determine feasibility.
• Prepare loan documentation and deliver commitment letters.
• Review real estate appraisals and assess appropriate values.
• Coordinate loan closings and funding in a timely manner.
• Stay informed on lending practices and policy updates.
• Promote Bank products via community involvement and events.
• Manage referrals and direct meetings for new business.
• Ensure compliance with standards and secure customer transactions.
• Handle advanced client maintenance requests and cross-sell deposits, credit and services.
