Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management in Rockwall, TX seeks an experienced Convention Services professional to organize and manage hotel events from pre-event planning through post-event turnover. You will coordinate with group sales, catering, and hotel departments to maximize room and meeting space, revenues, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hotel catering and rooms experience.
• Proven track record of delivering quality service.
• Strong English communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, upsell and detail the program with the client including verification and modification of space requirements, times, equipment, menus, themes/decorations, etc.
• Coordinate with group sales, catering sales and hotel departments to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Monitor and manage budgets to maximize revenues and control costs while delivering a quality product.
• Lead pre-event and post-event meetings for assigned groups.
• Act as liaison between hotel and customer throughout the event process and ensure customer satisfaction.
