Driftwood Hospitality Management seeks an experienced Convention/Event Specialist to coordinate hotel events from pre-event to post-event phases. You will upsell enhancements, organize guest rooms, menus, and setup, and collaborate with sales, catering, and operations to maximize revenue and service quality.

The role emphasizes leadership, problem solving, and maintaining brand standards across all event stages, with a focus on guest satisfaction and seamless turnover.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of hotel catering and rooms experience.
• Proven track record of quality service in hospitality.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Knowledge of hotel operations and brand policies.
• Familiarity with banquet, catering, and event planning.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, upsell and detail client programs including space, times, equipment, menus and decor.
• Monitor group room requirements and ensure commitments are met.
• Lead pre-event and post-event meetings and coordinate hotel departments.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and manage on-site issues promptly.
• Maintain budgets and maximize revenue while delivering quality service.
