Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management in Houston is seeking a proactive Sales Manager to act as the local on-property sales contact. You will solicit and handle revenue opportunities, upsell services, and drive hotel revenue while ensuring smooth turnover for service delivery.

The role focuses on proactive selling, relationship building with clients, and achieving personal and team revenue goals, with emphasis on meeting events and group business.

Qualifications

• Must have (3+) years of progressive sales experience.
• Previous hospitality industry experience preferred; luxury brands/experiential services.
• Aggressive negotiating skills with strong closing ability.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue goals and budgets.
• Strong presentation and platform skills; proficient in hotel systems.

Responsibilities

• Solicit and handle revenue-related opportunities and upsell products/services.
• Achieve personal and team revenue goals for the hotel.
• Ensure proper turnover of business for service delivery.
• Forecast group sleeping rooms and revenue for assigned accounts.
• Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers.
