Job summary

Voyager Technologies is hiring a Contract Specialist to manage complex contracts under FAR/DFARS, including DCS terms and international/FMS considerations. The role requires strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills and sits in a multi-site environment.

The successful candidate will work with Legal, Finance, and Operations to shape contracting outcomes and support Voyager’s mission-critical programs from California. Onsite at the Folsom location with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years in a technology/defense/aerospace/space company.
• Experience with FAR/DFARS Government contracts.
• Experience in proposal development, cost structure, performance requirements, delivery schedules, and negotiations.
• Ability to influence executive leadership and communicate effectively.
• Detail oriented and data-driven.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance on contractual rights/obligations, regulations, and policies to mitigate risks.
• Negotiate terms to ensure timely payments and financial targets are met.
• Develop and implement contract strategies aligned with Voyager’s imperatives.
• Coordinate with Legal, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Compliance.
