Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant past experience in sales.
• Experience carrying an individual quota in direct sales.
• Experience selling construction services, ideally asphalt or concrete.
• Ability to sell to Manager and Director levels within the organization.
• Experience managing the entire project cycle from start to close.
• Strategic in finding new business using technical knowledge and skillset.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic analytics.
• Familiarity with CRM, bid preparation and job cost software.

Responsibilities

• Engage new and existing users to illustrate value of our current portfolio.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive repeat business.
• Collaborate with estimating, operations and PM teams to prepare competitive proposals.
• Participate in bid reviews and preconstruction meetings to align client expectations with scope.
• Present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with clients.
• Maintain regular client engagement to understand upcoming projects and needs.
• Manage resources with dedicated and executive teams to ensure successful outcomes.
• Align company solutions to customer business needs and technical requirements.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
• Attend networking events and industry meetings to promote services.
