Job summary

The Haskell Company is seeking a Project Manager I in Frisco, TX to lead construction initiatives from assignment through completion. You’ll coordinate field management, schedule activities, manage budgets, and collaborate with owners, designers, and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within scope.

You will mentor team members, enforce safety and quality standards, and report progress to stakeholders while navigating evolving project requirements and owner expectations with integrity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent.
• Three years minimum in construction management.
• Knowledge of project management processes and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Field Management, Safety, and Quality: Reviews and monitors project progress, quality and safety.
• Document Control: Maintains submittal control and RFI logs.
• Scheduling: Plans, sequences, and schedules the project with input from the superintendent and subcontractors.
• Financial Management: Manage project budget, cost reports, invoicing, and cash flow.
• Procurement and Commitments: Establish procurement strategy, bid packages, and subcontractor qualification.
• Estimating: Prepare detailed estimates and cost control systems.
• Project Lifecycle Management: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables; manage start-up and close-out.
• Scope and Change Management: Notify owner and secure change orders; update budgets.
• Risk Management: Identify and evaluate project risks and contract terms.
• Subcontractor/Vendor Management: Manage performance and issues with subcontractors/suppliers.
• Design Coordination: Monitor design progress and permit requirements.
• Client Relations: Manage client communications and reports.
• Project Development: Respond to RFPs and assist with proposals.
• Staffing: Establish project organization and team roles.
• Personnel Development: Mentor team members and set expectations.
• Project Communications: Maintain project communication plans and progress reports.
• Travel as required.
• Other duties which may be assigned as needed.
