Job summary

Haskell is seeking a senior-level Project Manager to lead large, multi-phase EPC-type projects. You will serve as the single point of contact with owners/clients, directing project teams and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while upholding Haskell safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include defining scope, developing cost control strategies, managing procurement, and coordinating design, permitting, and subcontractor activities. Extensive travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management required.
• Minimum of 5 years in construction management.
• Experience managing large, multi-phase EPC-type projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Field Management, Safety, and Quality: monitor progress and enforce safety policies; ensure quality objectives are met.
• Document Control: manage submittals, RFIs, drawings, and meeting minutes.
• Scheduling: plan and update project schedules with input from superintendent and subs.
• Financial Management: control project costs, manage invoicing, and cash flow.
• Procurement and Commitments: establish procurement strategy and manage bids and subcontracts.
• Estimating: prepare detailed estimates and cost control inputs.
• Project Lifecycle Management: lead project from start-up to close-out, maintain team culture.
• Scope and Change Management: issue changes, obtain owner acceptance, adjust budgets.
• Risk Management: identify and assess project risks and mitigation strategies.
• Subcontractor/Vendor Management: oversee performance and issue notices.
• Design Coordination: review design progress and coordinate permits and inspections.
• Client Relations: manage meetings, reports, and client inquiries.
• Project Development: contribute to RFP responses and proposals.
• Staffing: coordinate project personnel requirements.
• Personnel Development: mentor and develop team members.
• Project Communications: maintain communication plans and progress reports.
• Travel as required.
• Supervises others.
