Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management and at least three years in construction management. You will work with project directors, manage schedules and budgets, communicate with clients, and travel as needed while upholding Haskell core values.

Qualifications

• Expertise in managing resources, including budgets, schedules and materials
• Knowledge of estimating, construction methods, engineering, equipment and technology
• Excellent understanding of safety procedures
• Excellent organizational, supervisory, communication, collaboration and analytical skills
• Ability to travel per project requirements

Responsibilities

• Field management, safety, and quality: monitor progress, enforce safety policies, and ensure quality objectives.
• Document control: manage submittals, RFIs, drawings, meeting minutes and as-builts.
• Scheduling: plan, sequence, and schedule work with the superintendent and subs; update schedules.
• Financial management: control project costs, budgets, invoicing, and cash flow.
• Procurement and commitments: establish procurement strategy, bid packages, subcontractor selection, and change orders.
• Estimating: prepare detailed estimates and cost control systems.
• Project lifecycle management: define scope, objectives, deliverables and close-out tasks.
• Scope and change management: issue owner notices and manage contract changes.
• Risk management: identify and evaluate project risks and mitigation.
• Subcontractor/vendor management: monitor performance and manage issues.
• Design coordination: track design progress and coordinate permits and approvals.
• Client relations: manage meetings, reports, and inquiries.
• Project development: respond to RFPs and assist proposals.
• Staffing: establish organization and supervision requirements.
• Personnel development: mentor and train team members.
• Project communications: maintain stakeholder updates.
• Travel as required.
• Other duties and supervision as needed.
