Job summary

ALLY Construction Services is seeking an Estimator to analyze and price construction projects ranging from $100K to $30M. You will interact with architects, clients and subcontractors to develop competitive bids and conceptual budgets, while maintaining supplier relationships and market awareness.

The role requires 5+ years in estimating, a relevant degree, and a willingness to travel regionally. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction estimating experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering or Management or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license for company travel.
• Excellent estimating, communication, financial analysis, budgeting, purchasing, negotiation and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Review construction plans and drawings to develop estimates.
• Identify omissions and ensure complete scope in estimate packages.
• Prepare conceptual estimates, bids, budgets, and pricing analyses.
• Provide subcontractor/vendor pricing and bid coordination.
• Develop project schedules based on subcontract input and data.
• Maintain cost databases and qualified bidders lists for teams.
• Stay current with market conditions, pricing, and supplier changes.
• Travel regionally up to 3 days at a time as needed.
