Job summary

ALLY Construction Services seeks an experienced Estimator to join a fast-growing team in the United States. The role focuses on construction estimating, budgeting, and bid preparation for projects ranging from $100K to $30M, with collaboration across architects, clients, subcontractors, and internal staff.

You will develop competitive bids and conceptual budgets, maintain cost databases, and ensure pricing accuracy while supporting project teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction estimating experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering or Management or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Review construction plans and identify omitted items to ensure full scope in estimates.
• Prepare conceptual estimates, bids, budgets, and pricing analyses for proposed projects.
• Support Project Managers with subcontractor/vendor bidding and pricing.
• Develop schedules based on input from subcontractors and historical data.
• Maintain a construction cost database and a database of qualified bidders.
• Attend client meetings to discuss estimates and resolve pricing questions.
• Conduct change order pricing and site visits as needed.
• Assist in preparing management-level planning and cost control analyses.
• Travel regionally up to 3 days at a time as required.
