Job summary

ALLY Construction Services is seeking an experienced Estimator to analyze and price construction projects ranging from $100K to $30M. You will interact with architects, clients, subcontractors, and operations staff to ensure a clear understanding of project objectives, schedules and costs.

Regional travel may be required to support Northeast and Mid-Atlantic markets. The role involves developing conceptual budgets, competitive bids, and maintaining cost databases, while ensuring estimates align

Qualifications

• Excellent estimating, communication, financial analysis, budgeting, purchasing, negotiation and computer skills are essential.
• Requires expertise in the use of computer software programs, such as Microsoft Office Suite. Blue Beam and Premier experience are a plus.
• Life Sciences or manufacturing facility project experience (or similar) preferred.
• Experience with Lean Construction Practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough review of construction plans, architectural and engineered drawing sets.
• Identify items omitted and ensure appropriate accounting for full project scope.
• Prepare conceptual estimates, competitive bids, budgets, and pricing analyses.
• Share information about reliable sub-contractors and suppliers for GMP and Lump Sum pricing.
• Prepare competitive Lump Sum and Time and Material bids, including bid forms and general conditions.
