Job summary

ALLY Construction Services in the United States is seeking an experienced Estimator to perform construction estimating, budgeting and bidding for projects ranging from $100K to $30M. You will work with architects, clients, subcontractors and project teams to deliver competitive bids and robust budgets.

The role requires travel up to three days at a time across the Northeastern US, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast US.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction estimating experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering or Management preferred.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Review construction plans and drawings for full scope.
• Identify omissions and ensure accurate cost representation.
• Prepare conceptual estimates, bids, budgets and pricing analyses.
• Share reliable subcontractors and suppliers for pricing.
• Prepare Lump Sum and Time & Materials bids with management review.
• Assist PMs with subcontractor bids and scheduling inputs.
• Maintain cost database and bidder qualification lists.
• Stay current with materials, pricing trends, and code changes.
