Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Senior Project Cost Engineer to support development and management of the project financial strategy. You will work with the project management team to manage budgets, costs, change orders, pricing requests, billings and forecasts, ensuring quality control and alignment with management's strategy.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in project cost with construction industry experience and proficiency with PMWeb/DataServ/Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Construction Management (or related).
• 3–5 years of Project Cost experience.
• Minimum 2 years of construction industry experience.
• Knowledge of project development stages, procurement, project controls, and construction execution practices.
• Proficient with PMWeb, DataServ, Excel, JD Edwards; PMP desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with all project disciplines to understand total cost budget allowances and targets.
• Review documents to identify and track change orders and baseline estimates, risks and impacts.
• Coordinate with accounting to ensure accurate billings, cost reporting, and forecasts.
• Interact with project management, executives, subcontractors, and clients as needed.
• Handle cost engineering, cost estimation, and cost analysis for complex projects.

Education

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Construction Management, or related degree.
