Job summary

Uber is seeking a Compensation Business Partner to join our People Operations team. You’ll influence compensation strategy, design programs, and partner with HRBPs and leaders to align rewards with business goals in a fast-paced environment.

The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, including budget planning, market analysis, and global program administration. You’ll develop dashboards and provide insights to drive fair and competitive pay across our technology and product

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a fast-paced professional environment.
• 3+ years progressive HR and compensation experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Background in Compensation, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics or Economics.
• Experience with broad-based and sales compensation.
• Strong analytical capabilities and persuasive communication.
• Strong planning, project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Consulting experience.

Responsibilities

• Influence leaders in compensation strategy and programs.
• Drive identification, assessment and execution of ongoing compensation process improvement.
• Design and implement global compensation programs, budgets and focal reviews.
• Assess effectiveness of compensation strategy for technology and product groups.
• Consult on global programs, market analysis and annual budget planning.
• Provide technical expertise to maintain competitive positioning.
• Collaborate with recruiting to secure top talent with compelling offers.
• Ensure compliance with global pay regulations and pay equity.
