Job summary

FirstService Residential seeks a seasoned Community Manager to provide leadership for Boards and oversee day-to-day operations of a residential community. You will direct staff, manage budgets, ensure compliance, and align operations with the Board's mission and community goals.

You'll coordinate with emergency services and outside agencies, recruit and train staff, and supervise all community operations, ensuring timely reporting and effective communication with homeowners and boards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field with 3+ years in Property Operations, Hospitality or Construction or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of community management experience, with at least 4 years leading staff.
• Experience managing a staff across multiple functions and organizations preferred.
• Understanding of Condominium law, financial planning and property management.
• Valid driver's license and state-mandated vehicle insurance.
• Commitment to obtain CPM, PCAM, AMS designations or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for short- and long-range plans and annual goals.
• Review organization structure and functions; advise Board on changes.
• Partner with public, private and volunteer organizations to deliver community services.
• Support activities of Board sub-committees and ensure governance documents are followed.
• Monitor monthly financial position and assist with annual operating budget.
