Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Commercial Lines Placement Specialist to join our Commercial Lines team in Los Angeles. You will manage new business and renewal processes for small commercial accounts, analyze exposures, prepare submissions, and negotiate coverage terms.

The role requires at least 3 years of insurance placement experience and a current P&C license. On-site collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of insurance industry experience, focusing on small/mid commercial placements.
• Current Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
• CRM, CISR, CIC, AAI, ARM, or CPCU designations preferred or actively pursued.

Responsibilities

• Manage timelines and processes for new business and renewal for small commercial accounts.
• Analyze exposure and financials to support quote development.
• Prepare applications, loss summaries, and exposure schedules for submission.
• Negotiate coverage terms and present proposals to clients and markets.
• Maintain relationships with carriers and stay informed of appetite and market trends.
• Collaborate with Client Advisors and Account Service Team on marketing strategy.
