Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Placement Specialist to market property and casualty insurance programs for small to mid-market accounts. You will gather, analyze, and organize data; prepare submissions and applications; negotiate coverage terms; and prepare proposals for prospects and renewals.

On-site collaboration with a cross-functional team is essential. The role requires 3–5 years of Commercial Lines experience, property/casualty licensing, and a college degree (designation pursuit preferred).

Qualifications

• 3–5 years Commercial Lines experience
• Licensed in property and casualty insurance
• College degree preferred
• Pursuit of professional designation – CISR, CIC, AAI, ARM, CPCU – preferred
• Experience with Epic preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain timeline and process during new business and renewal processes, including exposure analysis and negotiation of coverage offers
• Prepare submissions, applications, loss summaries, prospect profiles and exposure schedules
• Conduct presentations with producers and segment leaders
• Review policies and contracts and recommend improvements
• Prepare property and casualty submissions for new business and renewing accounts
• Attend prospect/proposal meetings with the producer as needed
• Analyze prospect client exposure and develop loss-sensitive financial models
• Communicate with prospects and carriers; manage confidential information
• Maintain relationships with insurance carriers and wholesalers
• Support collaboration and cross-functional partnership across teams
