Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Commercial Lines Placement Specialist to join our Commercial Lines team (Small Commercial). You will manage the new business and renewal processes, conduct exposure and financial analysis, prepare quote specifications, submit applications to carrier portals, negotiate coverage terms, and present proposals.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of small/mid commercial experience, holds a current P&C license, and can leverage carrier relationships to optimize placements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of insurance industry experience, focus on small/mid commercial placements.
• Knowledge of carrier markets and placement strategies.
• Current Property & Casualty license required.
• Professional designations (CRM/CISR/CIC/AAI/ARM/CPCU) preferred; active pursuit acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Manage timelines and processes for new business and renewals.
• Develop and implement market strategies for select accounts.
• Exercise independent judgment in account placement with carriers.
• Collaborate with Client Advisors and markets on strategy and outcomes.
• Review policies and make coverage recommendations.
• Prepare submissions, loss summaries, and exposure schedules for proposals.
