Job summary

HUB International in the United States seeks a Commercial Lines Account Manager to manage an insurance book with autonomy and professional service for clients, carriers, and partners.

You will support Producers, retain accounts, and pursue new business while upholding HUB’s standards. The role emphasizes relationship management, accuracy, and timely communications within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of applicable insurance/agency experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Detail-oriented self-starter and team player.

Responsibilities

• Makes decisions on books of insurance business for which the incumbent is responsible.
• Works with Producers and HUB personnel on client service, marketing, and renewal.
• Oversees preparation and processing for assigned accounts.
• Maintains understanding of clients' insurance objectives and compares plans for suitability.
• Builds relationships with carriers and resolves escalated issues.
• Documents conversations and updates HUB systems as required.
• Travels on company business as needed.
• Attends continuing education trainings and related duties.
