Job summary

HUB International in Memphis, TN seeks a Strategic Account Executive to lead the overall service, recommendations, and implementation for a book of insurance business. You will foster relationships with clients, carriers, and HUB colleagues, driving business development and renewal activities.

The role requires independent discretion, industry knowledge, and the ability to mentor junior staff while traveling as needed and contributing to team success.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience and proficiency in an insurance Account Management role preferred.
• Brokerage experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service, analytical, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems including Microsoft Office and automated agency management systems.
• Leadership experience and independent responsibility for client retention preferred.
• Ability to lead and influence in a team environment.
• Willing to work full-time at HUB facilities and travel when required.

Responsibilities

• Manages an assigned book of business with key accounts.
• Negotiates terms, conditions, and pricing with carriers.
• Develops understanding of clients’ objectives and analyzes plans for suitability.
• Builds relationships with internal and external partners.
• Leads client meetings and renewal meetings as needed.
• Mentors Account Managers and Representatives.
• Travels on company business as required.
• Prepares reports for management.
