Job summary

Element Risk Management is seeking an Advisor to develop and manage a book of business, service insurance customers, analyze needs, evaluate options, and offer tailored insurance solutions. The primary line is commercial Property and Casualty.

The Advisor will identify new prospects, nurture relationships, and promote the agency, handling renewals and collaborating with underwriters as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent.
• Licensed Property & Casualty insurance producer required.
• Continuing Education/Training as required by statutes and regulations.
• Thorough knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance.

Responsibilities

• Determine customers’ needs and financial exposures; schedule fact-finding appointments.
• Develop and quote insurance plans and implement coverage actions.
• Identify insurance prospects and markets.
• Market, service, and promote the agency’s products.
• Service existing customers and renewals with strong communication.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with carriers; manage quotes and bind coverage.
• Meet revenue standards and quotas.
