Job summary

California Bank & Trust is seeking a seasoned Commercial Banking Relationship Manager to build and manage a robust commercial lending portfolio across Tustin, Irvine, Encino or Chino, CA. You’ll originate and service a wide range of commercial loans, cross-sell bank products, and provide underwriting judgment to ensure quality credit performance.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's and 6 years in commercial or credit lending, underwriting, or related experience.
• Expert knowledge of commercial loans, credit analysis, lending, and closing processes.
• Ability to expand loans, client relationships, and cross-sell bank products.
• Excellent sales ability and strong interpersonal/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate and service a wide variety of commercial loans with low risk relationships.
• Act as principal account and relationship manager for new and existing clients.
• Develop and follow up on new client leads through referrals.
• Call on existing relationships to review portfolios and recommend actions.
• Handle sales, credit analysis, proper loan structuring, client interviewing.
• Monitor credit performance and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Build and maintain relationships with high customer satisfaction.
• Cross-sell other bank products and perform other duties as assigned.
