Job summary

California Bank & Trust in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Commercial Banking Relationship Manager to build and maintain strong client relationships and to lead a diverse loan portfolio. You will manage new and existing clients, structure loans, conduct credit analysis, and cross-sell bank products.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 4–8+ years in commercial lending, strong sales ability, and excellent communication skills. Base salary commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 4–8+ years in commercial lending or credit.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial loans, credit analysis, lending, loan processing and closing processes.
• Strong sales ability and the capability to expand client relationships and cross-sell bank products.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proficient in evaluating credit performance.

Responsibilities

• Generate and service a wide variety of commercial loans while maintaining high customer service.
• Serve as principal account and relationship manager for new and existing clients.
• Develop and follow up on new client leads through referrals from other bank departments.
• Call on existing relationships to review portfolios and make recommendations.
• Structure loans, perform credit analysis, interview clients, and assess character.
• Monitor credit performance and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Cross-sell other bank products and aggressively pursue new business.
