Job summary

Johnson Controls in Livermore, CA seeks a seasoned Premier Account Executive to develop and expand business with large commercial accounts across multiple territories. You will lead the sale of integrated security, IT, and building solutions to C-level stakeholders and drive strategic account growth.

You will manage bids, grow market share, renew contracts, and nurture relationships with facilities, IT and finance teams.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience (12 years in the same type of position).
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a successful commercial sales representative in the security, IT or other technology sales industry; K-12 market a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand business with large existing and new commercial accounts across multiple territories.
• Master a broad product line and services; sell integrated solutions to regional named accounts.
• Manage bid boards and bid processes for local, state and government projects; source bids.
• Renew existing customer agreements and drive further account penetration.
• Build strong relationships with facilities, IT, and finance leaders; engage C-level when needed.
