Grainger is seeking an Account Manager for Alaska with hybrid work options. You will drive sales across a defined geography, managing 15-20 current accounts with annual revenue of $6M–$6.55M while traveling to customers in Alaska North Slope about half the time.

Applicants should have 3+ years in outside sales, strong forecasting and planning skills, and the ability to develop strategic account plans using Grainger’s CRM tools and processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of direct outside sales experience.
• Ability to forecast and manage opportunities and plan accounts.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer goals and respond to evolving needs.
• Leverage market data to respond to developments in customers' business.
• Support managed inventory tasks to expand customer relationships and sales.
• Articulate Grainger's value proposition to grow profitable sales.
