Job summary

Maximus is seeking a senior program manager to lead cognitive domain programs in a multi-project environment in the United States. You will oversee planning, staffing, and execution, apply PMI standards, and coordinate with SOF personnel, leadership, and vendors to ensure program relevance and impact. The role requires a U.S.

citizen with eligibility for a Secret security clearance. You will collaborate with families, medical and behavioral health providers, and internal stakeholders to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• 7-10 years of relevant professional experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of cognitive performance, brain health, neuroscience, human performance, psychology, or related discipline.
• Strong strategic planning, program management, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience using data, research and evidence-based practices to guide decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
• Oversee and manage large multi-project programs.
• Create and execute project work plans and revise as needed.
• Identify resources needed and assign responsibilities.
• Develop and maintain resource plans and required documents.
• Baseline all projects and capture metrics for forecasting.
• Review deliverables before sending to management and customers.
• Apply PMI methodology and enforce project standards.
• Prepare for engagement reviews and QA procedures.
• Minimize risk exposure on projects.
• Communicate project information to management and stakeholders.
• Resolve issues considering impact on the project.
• Ensure documents are complete and stored properly.
• Track lessons learned for future projects.
• Close out projects properly.
• Supervise staff with direction and feedback.
• Escalate workload prioritization.
• Liaise with vendors and monitor performance/SLA.
• Participate in drafting vendor contracts and requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement teams.
• Provide strategic direction for cognitive domain programs.
