Job summary

Maximus is seeking a senior Program Manager to lead complex cognitive domain programs in the U.S. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage planning artifacts, and ensure adherence to PMI standards across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 7–10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Equivalent combo of education and experience considered.
• Advanced knowledge of cognitive performance, brain health, neuroscience.
• Experience leading programs or multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong strategic planning, program management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience using data and evidence-based practices to guide decisions.
• Ability to operate in a multi-domain, cross-functional environment.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and planning artifacts.
• Oversee large multi-project programs including staffing and directing activities.
• Create and execute project work plans and revise as needed.
• Identify resources and assign responsibilities.
• Baseline projects and capture metrics for forecasts.
• Apply PMI methodology and enforce project standards.
• Prepare engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
• Minimize risk exposure and communicate progress to stakeholders.
