Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect to educate customers on scalable, secure cloud architectures and help migrate workloads to AWS. You will work with developers, leaders, and executives to translate technical challenges into business value.

You will partner with sales, build trusted relationships with senior technical staff, deliver training sessions, author customer-facing publications, and represent AWS in a travel-ready, customer-focused role with 25% domestic travel.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with customers via email, phone, WebEx, and in-person meetings.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value and strategic plans.
• Experience educating customers on scalable, secure cloud architectures on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to formulate and execute a strategy to exceed revenue objectives through AWS adoption.
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions.
• Build relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable cloud advocacy.
• Conduct one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge about AWS deployments.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
• Help build and migrate applications, software and services on the AWS platform.
• Author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers and product teams to evolve the AWS platform.
• Travel up to 25% domestically depending on location.
