Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect to partner with customers and design scalable, resilient cloud architectures on AWS. You’ll work with Sales to drive adoption and educate on best practices, while mentoring teams and shaping cloud strategy.

You will collaborate with enterprise customers, translate business needs into technical solutions, and contribute to publications and internal knowledge sharing. Travel is regional.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
• 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders as a trusted technical advisor.
• Define AI strategy for customers and communicate AWS value proposition to executive stakeholders.
• Participate in deep architectural and design discussions to create world-class solutions on AWS.
• Author and contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers and proofs of concept.
• Partner with sales to formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives.
• Build deep relationships with business and senior technical individuals to enable cloud advocacy.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge among the AWS solutions architect community.
• Travel is mostly regional, expected to be 15-20%.
