CVS Health Corporation seeks a Lead Director for Cloud Platform Engineering in Digital Engineering. You will set AWS-based strategy, govern security and compliance, and drive cost optimization while building self-service tooling for product teams.

This strategic leadership role requires deep technical depth, financial acumen, and executive presence to create a competitive advantage across the platform and the company.

Formación

• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure or platform engineering.
• 7+ years of experience leading engineering teams, managers, and technical portfolios.
• 5+ years of hands-on AWS at enterprise scale - compute, networking, IAM, and managed data/messaging services such as MSK, PostgreSQL, and OpenSearch; serverless experience.

Responsabilidades

• Setting the cloud platform strategy, target-state AWS architecture, and multi-year roadmap in partnership with Product, Architecture, Security, and enterprise stakeholders
• Owning AWS security architecture and governance - landing zone design, multi-account guardrails, and compliance to regulatory requirements
• Leading AI adoption across the organization - AI-assisted engineering tools and AI-driven platform operations with governance
• Driving CI/CD standards and Infrastructure-as-Code adoption, and building self-service capabilities for environments and pipelines
• Running cloud cost as a managed portfolio with showback/chargeback and annual optimization targets
• Owning operational excellence - observability, SLOs, incident management, and capacity planning
• Leading multiple engineering teams and managers, hiring, coaching, and building leadership pipelines
• Representing the platform to senior stakeholders, communicating health, cost, and strategic tradeoffs
