Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager of Digital Engineering to lead back-end teams, shape complex digital initiatives, and guide data migrations to the cloud while integrating AI technologies to improve member experiences.

You will mentor engineers, influence product roadmaps, and collaborate with product, design, architecture, and operations to align work with business priorities. This role supports hybrid or remote work across the continental USA.

Qualifications

7+ years of software development experience focusing on enterprise-level solutions and cloud technologies.
3+ years of experience leading large cross-functional project management initiatives including micro-services and event-driven architectures.
2+ years of experience with Agile/Scrum practices.
Experience with modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Responsibilities

Own the technical vision for product and platform capabilities and guide architectural decisions.
Build, mentor, and retain high-performing engineering teams; coach managers on leadership practices.
Drive delivery through clear goals, accountability, and improved team velocity and quality.
Collaborate with product, design, architecture, and operations to align work with business priorities.
Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, cloud services, and AI to enhance member experiences and efficiency.
Monitor team health, remove blockers, and resolve workflow impediments proactively.
