Job summary

Gallagher Benefit Services in Bloomington, MN seeks a Client Service Leader to ensure delivery of exceptional service by managing client service teams and guiding renewal processes. You will develop client relationships, coach staff, and drive our client service strategy to improve retention and outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in client service and at least 1 year of supervisory experience, with a focus on benefits and renewal cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years client service and/or claims management experience, OR High School degree with 10+ years in client service/claims management.
• 1+ years supervisory experience. Appropriate licensing as required.
• Preferred: experience designing productivity and client service improvements; leadership in matrix environments; understanding of professional and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor overall book and client assignments for the team while managing 1-2 clients to stay in touch with the marketplace.
• Provide guidance in the employee benefits client service cycle to ensure a seamless renewal process and handle advanced service issues.
• Continuously assess team member performance, provide timely feedback and coaching to improve performance.
• Prioritize team workflow and ensure accountability and compliance in internal and external partnerships.
• Communicate performance expectations and ensure resources to achieve goals.
• Recognize client strategy and determine coverage solutions that support client culture and values.
• Support consultants in winning new business by engaging with prospects and communicating Gallagher’s value proposition.
• Encourage cross-solving with clients and actively seek referrals for additional Gallagher resources.
• Champion Gallagher resources and tools to maximize efficiency in client deliverables.
• Guide, develop, and mentor new hires and team resources to strengthen Gallagher culture.
