Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Client Relationship Manager for Banking & Financial Services in Pittsburgh. You will own key client accounts, lead day-to-day activities, and collaborate with delivery teams to optimize backlog, margins, and renewals while focusing on client satisfaction and growth.

The role emphasizes P&L ownership, executive communication, and cross-functional leadership across client and delivery teams within the BFS vertical.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of client-facing experience in a consulting firm or IT professional services, BFS vertical.
• Experience managing Client P&L of $15+ Million including reporting and metrics.
• Excellent ability to influence and communicate with business stakeholders up to the C-Suite.
• Ability to interface at all levels of an organization.
• Excellent oral and written communication and executive presentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders.
• Understand the client environment, issues, and priorities.
• Work with clients to define their problems and co-create solutions.
• Drive RFPs / proactive bids regarding renewals, extensions, and expansion.
• Track BFS industry trends and propose proactive ideas and solutions.
• Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for the clients.
• Responsible for backlog growth including renewals and extensions of current engagements.
