Job summary

Sotheby’s International in New York seeks a Client Strategy professional to develop and implement client engagement strategies. You will partner with Specialist Departments, Regional Offices, Marketing, and other units to maximize reach within the existing and prospective client base.

Responsibilities include researching top clients, maintaining accurate CRM data, creating briefs and high-level presentations, and supporting pre-sale targeting initiatives with insights from data analysis.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years related auction or art market experience or related analyst role.
• Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Client Strategists to research for team meetings and top client reviews.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of client information in CRM systems.
• Create briefs, family trees and high-level presentations on key families/clients.
• Support pre-sale targeting initiatives and brainstorm for top lots and potential bidders.
• Collaborate on sale targeting with Digital Marketing and AI teams.
• Assist with invitation lists for bespoke events and draft client biographies.
• Record action points and deliverables from meetings for follow-through.
• Perform competitor analysis to identify business development opportunities.
