Sotheby’s in New York seeks a Client Strategy assistant to support strategic plans for key clients. The role relies on Excel data extraction and collaboration with Specialist Departments, Regional Offices, Marketing, and Business Intelligence to identify opportunities.

You will help build client profiles, monitor events and travel opportunities, and prepare data for top client reviews. A Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years in a related role are expected; strong analytical and communication

• Bachelor's Degree required, ideally in relevant area.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a related role; experience in the art market preferred.
• Excellent analytical, research, and interpersonal skills.
• Team player with positive working rapport with colleagues.
• Superior organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong knowledge of Sotheby’s or related digital platforms and Excel.

Mansioni

• Support Client Strategists and specialist departments with research on prospective clients and opportunities.
• Assist with strategic sale-related support, including tailored pre-sale targeting using digital and AI tools.
• Partner with Client Strategists to conduct research for top client reviews and meetings.
• Monitor and share event, travel, and visit opportunities to support client strategies.
• Prepare relevant data for top client reviews and identify gaps and opportunities.
• Review Collector/Rich lists to ensure data accuracy and identify new clients.
• Take meeting minutes and circulate post-meeting action points.
• Ensure accuracy of client information in CRM throughout the year.
• Create briefs, family trees and high-level presentations about key families/clients.
• Identify opportunities to increase cross-departmental transactions across formats.
• Assist in invitation list building for bespoke events and collaborate with Special Events.
• Support reviews of at-risk clients to assess progress.
