Job summary

Tulip Interfaces is seeking a Chief of Staff to design, implement, and scale operational frameworks in a fast-growing tech environment. You will partner with the CEO and leadership team to drive strategic planning, operating rhythms, and cross-functional alignment.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, process optimization, and executive communications, with a strong focus on efficiency and impact across GTM, R&D, and G&A. Hybrid in Somerville, MA with regular office presence.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in business operations, operational excellence, program management, strategy and planning, Chief of Staff, or business process optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to build, scale and continuously improve core business processes across multiple functions (GTM, R&D, G&A).
• Proven success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and implementing change management in dynamic environments.
• Advanced organizational skills with expertise in operational planning, resource allocation, and process design.
• Strong analytical chops with data interpretation and business analytics to identify gaps and solutions.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills with experience creating executive deliverables.
• Expert knowledge of MS Office and Google Suite; comfortable with business systems and reporting tools.
• MBA or top-tier consulting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company’s annual and quarterly planning cycles with Finance and functional leaders, driving goal-setting and accountability across teams.
• Design and manage frameworks that align cross-functional priorities, resources, and outcomes.
• Manage company-wide communication rhythms, leadership meetings, and presentations to internal and external audiences.
• Analyze and optimize core business processes across departments to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Partner with Systems and Analytics to automate workflows, improve data access, and ensure accurate reporting.
• Establish SOPs and drive adoption through change management to foster continuous improvement.
• Lead high-priority cross-functional initiatives on pricing, market entry, and onboarding redesigns.
• Build and manage the CEO Office function; prepare dashboards and recommendations for executives and Board-level forums.
• Coordinate leadership offsites and company-wide strategic events; manage complex logistics and communications.
