Job summary

AMD is seeking a Chief of Staff to support the Corporate Vice President of Engineering Enablement. You will manage daily operations, coordinate staff meetings, and serve as a trusted advisor across engineering and business teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Based in Seattle, you will drive long-range planning, executive communications, and strategic initiatives while helping to foster a high-performing, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Technical team or project leadership experience.
• People leadership in hi-tech industry; CSPs or OEMs in product development.
• Proactive, results-focused problem solving.
• Ability to develop and sustain a cohesive team and network of business partners.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Decisive with fast decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Drive the EE working model by facilitating weekly staff and operations meetings and coordinating key deliverables.
• Partner with HR to develop and manage internal communications (Town Halls, announcements).
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Procurement to achieve strategic goals.
• Lead Long Range Planning (LRP) and ensure OPEX and capital targets.
• Manage quarterly hiring plans and global footprint with Lab Strategy for capacity planning.
• Prepare high-level CVP presentations for executive, customer, and partner audiences.
• Oversee Seattle site calendar and events; foster a great place to work.
• Cultivate a cohesive, innovative, and collaborative team culture.
