And we’re looking for talent who feel the same: people who want to leave the planet better than they found it, those who don’t shy away from humanity’s challenges but are determined to help solve them.
AMD is powering the next generation of supercomputing, high-performance computing, cloud, and AI. Whether you’re designing next-gen processors, enabling AI breakthroughs, or creating go-to-market plans, every role at AMD contributes to something bigger — technology that moves the world forward.
The Role
Reporting to the Corporate Vice President of Engineering Enablement, the Chief of Staff is the central focal point spanning business and technical aspects of the Engineering Enablement (EE) organization. In this “hands-on” role, you will manage daily operations and serve as a focal point for communication and interaction within the management team. You will have the unique opportunity to drive key strategic initiatives determined by real-time business needs, while acting as a trusted advisor to the CVP and their staff. This environment offers a rare birds-eye view of engineering enablement operations, providing a platform to learn executive-level decision-making and interact with leaders across the entire corporate spectrum.
The Person

  • Partner with HR to develop and manage internal communications, including Town Halls and organizational announcements.
  • Collaborate with business partners in Finance, Legal, and Procurement to achieve strategic team goals.
  • Drive Long Range Planning (LRP) and ensure the achievement of OPEX and Capital budget targets.
  • Manage quarterly hiring plans and global footprint strategy, ensuring effective lab and data center capacity in partnership with the Lab Strategy team.
  • Prepare high-level presentations on behalf of the CVP for executive, customer, and partner audiences.
  • Drive Seattle site calendar and events. Work with administrative staff to cultivate a “great place to work” environment for the Seattle site.
  • Foster a cohesive team environment and enable a culture rooted in innovation, teamwork, and fun.
Preferred Experience
  • Technical team or project leadership success.
  • People leadership experience in the hi-tech industry. In particular, direct experience work with or for the CSPs or OEMs in product development role.
  • Proactive and results-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience developing and fostering a cohesive team and a strong network of business partners.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Action and results-orientation with the ability to make decisions quickly.
