Job summary

Tiello is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead financial operations for a restoration and construction franchise located in Charlotte, NC, with oversight of two additional entities managed from the Charlotte office.

The CFO will partner with ownership and executive leadership, drive budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, and develop scalable controls and processes across all entities to support growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and financial leadership experience.
• Experience across multiple entities and locations.
• Strong understanding of construction accounting, restoration accounting, franchise operations, and project-based financial management.
• Experience overseeing audits, compliance, tax strategy, and banking relationships.
• Proven ability to lead and develop accounting and finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive financial leadership for: Charlotte, NC Restoration Franchise and two additional entities.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cash flow management activities across all entities.
• Develop and deliver timely, accurate financial reporting and performance analysis to ownership and executive leadership.
• Manage consolidated and entity-specific financial statements and reporting.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial policies.
• Partner with operational leadership to improve profitability, efficiency, and financial performance.
• Monitor KPIs, job costing, WIP schedules, revenue recognition, and project profitability.
• Manage banking relationships, financing activities, credit facilities, and capital planning.
• Coordinate tax planning, audits, and regulatory compliance efforts.
• Evaluate business expansion opportunities, acquisitions, and organizational growth initiatives.
• Directly manage and mentor the Controller and Auditor, fostering accountability and professional development.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and best practices across all financial functions.
